III. CASE INFORMATION (Dockets)

A. New York Court of Appeals

1. Court-PASS from the Court of Appeals provides docket and other information.  The docket contains the due dates for the filing of briefs, records and appendices; the dates on which such documents are actually filed; scheduled dates of oral argument; and attorney contact information.  Court-PASS also provides access to the following documents: briefs; records or appendices; videos of oral argument; transcript of oral argument; court decisions; and motion papers filed by the parties when the Court has granted leave to appeal.

C. New York State Trial Court Dockets form eCourts:  Includes dockets for active and disposed cases from Local Civil Courts and Civil Supreme Courts.  It also includes information on pending cases from Family Court, Criminal cases in Local and Superior Courts, and Landlord Tenant Cases in Housing Part of New York City Civil Court.

D. New York County Supreme Court

Appellate Division Records and Briefs:  Currently there is no free online access to Appellate Division records  and briefs.  For information on how to obtain Appellate Division Records and Briefs, contact your local New York State Public Access Law Library.  In the future, Appellate Division Records and Briefs from 1896 to 1971 will be available from Google Books.
